2014 saw the first ever Leicester Music Festival take place at the iconic Welford Road Stadium.
Stag Communications produced via our in-house video production department the ‘Artist Introduction’ films for Leicester Music Festival’s big screens.
These short films were key for the crowd to understand what was going on on-stage and to keep the pace of the event going. The introductions worked perfectly making sure that the presenters could link to the live artist with the pre-prepared video to create a seamless introduction for the artists.
We worked with the event organisers to make sure we captured the feel of the event, to keep the production on-brand with what they were trying to achieve with the event.
The concert which was held at Welford Road in Leicester, the home of Leicester Tigers rugby club, was Leicester’s first foray into the world of large scale music festivals, it was a huge success and brought together artists from many era’s and genres all playing on the same stage.
Leicester Music Festival took place over 2 days in the summer of 2014 with artists like Tinie Tempah, Labrinth, Billy Ocean, UB40, The Saturdays and UB40 all taking to the stage to entertain the crowds.
Capital FM partnered with the team at Leicester Music festival to bring a huge amount of media support to the event and even broadcast backstage over the 2 day event. Securing exclusive interviews with Billy Ocean, Tinie Tempah and the Saturdays. This really brought the sound of Leicester Music Festival to the people of Leicester who couldn’t make it to the gig.
