University of Nottingham RAD Building
We’ve worked with Robert Woodhead for several years now and have watched them build, restore and refurbish some fantastic projects – but the Rad Building is becoming a favourite of ours.
The RAD building is a huge £6m Government funded project on the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee campus and will set a precedent as one of the first buildings of its kind to meet the Passive House and BREEAM standards, meaning the building uses and requires very little energy to run.

We worked with Woodhead to put together this video, interviewing and filming all partners involved, to create a piece of film to demonstrate the progress on site to date.
The video also includes some time lapse footage, which we set up on Woodhead’s site at the beginning of the project. In a few weeks at the end of the project we will have a full progress video from the ground up.
Our videographer, Mark, who is CAA qualified, carried out drone filming of the RAD building and this video includes footage filmed using one of our own state-of-the-art drones. Our little friend in the sky helps us capture a project from angles we wouldn’t normally be able to access without a lot of big, and very expensive equipment.
I’m sure you’ll see from this video why the RAD building is fast becoming one of our most exciting projects to date to be involved with.
