We were thrilled to be given the opportunity to get involved with a project being run by the RSPB in Nottinghamshire’s Sherwood Forest.
They took on the task of building the brand new Sherwood Forest Visitors Centre and one of our clients, Robert Woodhead was taken on to do the build of the incredibly impressive new building in the heart of Nottinghamshire and Robin Hood’s home town of Edwinstowe.
As well as a new shop and café, the centre also includes a terrace, an outdoor amphitheatre and a new Robin Hood-themed playground, designed with the help of children.
We have been involved from the beginning of this project and so have been able to follow the site’s progress throughout.
We were taken on by Woodhead to capture the project from start to finish and you can see from the photos just how impressive this project was to be involved with.
The modern, iconic building has been a really exciting legacy to photograph and both internally and externally, the structure is something our very own Robin Hood would be proud of.
Projects like this also benefit greatly from time lapse and drone footage. The footage of this impressive building taken with a drone from above is really stunning. The shape of the build from above is really something that can’t be captured as well from the ground, but the drone allows for some beautiful images of this new centre nestled in the incredible Sherwood Forest.
The use of time lapse, drone and stills mean we can create a fantastic video to document the whole story and we can always offer the option of adding in interviews from key people involved with a project throughout the film to help tell the story to your audience.
